Conveniently located near the railway and just a short drive to the Grand Canyon, this hotel offers easy access to popular attractions. The rooms are comfortable with hot water and functioning irons, ensuring a pleasant stay. The staff is generally helpful and willing to refund money when inconveniences arise.

Clean bath/shower. Comfortable beds. Quiet. The orange juice (Continental breakfast) was delicious! I was surprised to see a locking safe in the rooms. I didn't need it but I guess it would be nice if you had valuables and were leaving the room for a time.

The rooms inisde are nicer than one would guess from the outside appearance of the hotel. Outside (stairs, doors) could use some upgrading but that did not affect the quality of our stay.

Convenience to NAU

It was a non-smoking room, yet it reeked of smoke. The pillows, pillow cases and comforter were extremely uncomfortable. The room was very aged for the rate charged. The "breakfast" was cereal and toast and the toaster lever had to be held down manually.

We loved the spacious and relaxing rooms with two king-size beds. The rate of $35 per night was surprisingly affordable for such comfort. Having a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room was convenient for keeping our 5-year-old's snacks and juice. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the local area and the Grand Canyon. It was close to a grocery store and plenty of places to eat. The friendly staff promptly addressed any issues we had, such as replacing a faulty coffee pot and making repairs to lamps and electrical plugs.

Our experience was negatively impacted by poor customer service. The staff member at the front desk was unhelpful and unfriendly.

The on-site manager present from the 11th to 13th of November was an abysmal salesperson for this type of business. Not only was he supremely unfriendly, his grumpiness made us considering staying somewhere else.

Nothing

There was no hot water. There was only one staff person who was on duty for 24 hours. He overslept one morning so the lobby was not open and continental breakfast was not ready.

Price was good. The second stay the staff was very nice.

The first stay, the person behind the desk was not very friendly. There was very little water pressure. The second stay, there was no hot water. Fruit at the breakfast would be nice. Also, whole wheat bread instead of plain white bread.

You should offer more variety for breakfast, such as fruit. The room was smelly and the beds neded to be replaced. It was clean, and fine for one night. Even though the facility was old, it neded updating.

Convenient to our locations

We heard trains all night - so not much sleep, also the mattress was not very good and we had an electrical problem with plugging the cell phone into an outlet. sparks and smoke were flying. We did not enjoy breakfast - we will not stay there again.
